My account was once given administrative priveleges....perhaps this caused the problem? My account definitely no longer has these priveleges - i am locked out of the users and teams preference pane as i should be.

I noticed this problem as a result of sync taking hours and hours and never completing. I followed instructions on these forums for resetting iSync. I tried completely resetting sync services with a few terminal commands recommended over at the discussions at apple.

I suspect the sync is taking forever because of the numerous appointments that are still somehow connected to my user account, even though the owner shows as various other users.

I have since uninstalled Daylite with various combinations of the options checked...finally removing EVERYTHING (although somehow my saved smart lists still appear after installing anew??).

This really stinks, I am losing faith in Daylite. My firm is starting to have alot of business converting small offices from windows to mac, and Daylite is a critical part of the process as it could potentially serve very well in place of Outlook.

Can you please help? I would really appreciate some explanations or guesses as to why these kinds of problems happen.

If you believe those appointments should not be owned by you, you could bulk edit them to change the owner.

After this, try a fresh sync again (if possible, try to leave other external sources, such as .Mac/Mobileme out of the syncing process for now).

If you're still having difficulties with syncing afterwards, I recommend you send your logs in to our Support team (Help > Email Log Files), as it would be too difficult to diagnose any problems through the forums only.

Need help in Daylite or Billings? Check the Help menu for Apple Help documentation.
