Greetings!
Well I thought I would check in and see if Daylite ever managed to create the sync ability with Blackberry. I don't check in on the forums that much, so forgive me if this is repetitive since the last time I checked 6 months ago.

We have a Blackberry in the office and it seems to sync properly with Daylite Version 3.5. If you're a current user of Daylite upgrade to our latest verion. If you're not a current customer you can call sales department for further information and or download the trial version.

We have instructions on how to setup syncronization with your Blackberry in our Apple Help articles. The following is straight out of our new Apple Help feature:

About BlackBerry synchronization

Contacts, organizations, tasks, and appointments in Daylite can be synchronized with a BlackBerry. You can specify what exactly you want to synchronize in the Synchronization pane of Daylite Preferences. You should have Missing Sync for BlackBerry installed to be able to synchronize with a BlackBerry.

In order to confirm the exact requirements for using Missing Sync for BlackBerry and also to know whether your BlackBerry is supported, refer the Missing Sync Help (Help > Missing Sync Help).

It is recommended that you first synchronize iCal and Address Book with your BlackBerry. If you are able to perform this sync successfully, you can then initiate a sync in Daylite.

Before performing your first sync, it is always recommended to backup your data on the computer that will sync using Missing Sync for BlackBerry. Thereafter, you should establish a regular backup schedule for your data.

I have recently switched to Mac after a virus with Windows. Daylite has been a terrific tool, although I am dependant on my blackberry.

I have just tried to synchronise my blackberry with Daylite 3.5 and Missing Sync. The Calendar synchronises well, however I still have problems with my Contacts. After a sync with Missing Sync, my Blackberry displays the Organisations as separate items (as in Address Book). How do I avoid this?

In Daylite Sync Preferences I have set for contacts are for Sync Lists and Daylite Groups. I have NOT checked the box that says "I synchronise with an iPhone or Missing Sync for Palm OS" as when I do the sync displays an error. Is there anything else I can try?

In Addressbook, do you have both contacts and Organizations? If so, so will the BB.

Perhaps if you choose just to sync Sync contacts and not Daylite groups you'd have the result you are looking for.

We maintain a separate "sync list" for organizations. You can empty that sync list (found in the organization section) and you will not get separate organization records.
