Daylite 3.7.4
Mac OS X Leopard Openbase 10 I went offline to enter contacts information from home and made changes to existing contacts from within my database. As soon as I went back online and synced from work, the Online DB overrides all of the changes I made in my offline database. I wanted the changes I made to the offline database, replace the existing online contacts information. Why did this happen? How can I change the online DB to be updated with the changes made from the offline database? Tried searching, with no luck. Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated! -r |

Hi Robin
Did you connect to your online database or sync with you online database? |

Actually, we just figured it out this weekend! Everyone was working offline, then used File > Database > Go Online, instead of connecting via File > Database > Sync with online DB Thanks for offering your help Michael |

In the case where the same record is modified in both the offline and online database, when syncing, the online modifications always 'wins' and overwrites the modifications in the offline.
This applies regardless of how you perform the sync of the offline to the online. Need help in Daylite or Billings? Check the Help menu for Apple Help documentation. |
