I've noticed that none of my preferences are being saved (for example, I'm trying to extend the working day from 5pm to 10pm - I'm told to restart Daylite in order for changes to take effect, so I re-start, but the calendar keeps reverting to default) Also, I keep ticking the box to 'start from last database'. However, I ALWAYS get the dialogue box on start-up asking me which database I want to connect to. Even when I click 'don't show me again' this has no effect.

I've tried re-starting, holding the option key down and going straight to preferences from there, but that doesn't work either!

Could anyone offer any advice? I am a single user, and there appears to be only me and 'daylite admin' registered as users. According to the preference pane, I am signed in as an administrator.
