Hi,

I'm not having a good day! I have just gone into my database and discovered all the time I spent linking my contacts and organisations at the beginning of last week has been wasted.

All the links have now disappeared!

A couple of notes:

I had the benefit of enjoying my hard work for a couple of days, so it seems unlikely I have done something wrong when setting them up. They were all there allowing me to jump between org and contact and back again in all views.

Now, If I select organisations on the nav pane, and highlight a particular org I can't see any of the contacts I've linked to it.

If I go into Contacts and highlight a name in the results pane when in List & Linked view, I can't see the organisation they're linked to. but when I'm in the List view I CAN see the org as before. I can also see the org in the details pane under the contact's name. When I open up the contact though, there is no org listed anywhere in the contact.

This is true of ALL my contacts linked to organisations in our database!

I have just linked a dummy contact to an organisation with no problems. It is fine in all views.

All the old links are still missing though!

Any ideas?

The patch DL sent didn't work and no-one's been replying to my emails at DL for the last couple of days.

We're desperate to be able to use our database again!

We do daily backups.

If I restore a back up from last Friday, the file will have all the links in it but not the data we've added in the past five days.

Is there a way of sync-ing them that will keep the contact/org links from the older version and the new data from the current one?

No sadly there isn't. Need to decide if you can redo you input or no, until? a work around is found. I know it is not what you wanted to hear
