After installing DL on a fresh OSX 10.5.4 server (due to a server issue I had to solve, don't ask..), restoring my database from backup and updating my client machines to DL 3.7.5, I have an email message that appears to have dumped into DL by DMI 10 times. On further checking, I think this has to do with my Mail accounts having had a short lived issue to send mail through my in-house mail server. In essence, a composed mail was sitting in the Drafts box, and I remember it trying to send a few times until I had the settings nailed again after testing Kerberos vs MD5 authentication of Mail connections to the server.

The big question then is, doe DMI store the message in DL without the message actually going out successfully? It seems so to me. That throws up the question if DMI could be setup via prefs or by default to transfer sent mails to DL only AFTER a successful send? That would help in having only data in DL that reflects reality?

While we are at it, I have to say the fix for drawer not appearing when sending mail from within DL is really needed. It is an almost daily annoyance.
