I'm very happy that you now support merge to Numbers and Pages. I can rid myself of microsoft.

I hope Numbers supports the opportunity and form merge keys.

Can you include a simple report that pulls data from one of your sample forms? Ideally, I'd like to select several opportunities (each with the same form attached) and sum some of the form fields in a report, and just show some of the others.

It seems like from the boards that a lot of people would like a sample report that totaled a column of calculated numbers. i.e. estimate total x prob % = probable total, and then a sum of the probable totals to get a sales forecast.

What is the eta for the final version of 3.7.4?

No...very solid template that I have been using for over a year.

OK...this was reproducible in word 2008 by doing the following

1.Open any word doc.
2.Make any change but don't save
3. create a form in ops with a linked contact
4. merge form with a contact selected
5. The document pens behind the other doc..says it is merging and then nothing happens
6. Close the open doc's
7. Then do the merge and things work great.

I'm having trouble getting the Lightspeed connector to work with Daylite 3.7.4 and Lightspeed 2.6.
From the xsilva_db log in Openbase manager I get the following error:

2008-06-22 20:57:08 +0300: LOGIN REJECTED: The LightSpeed OEM license only works with LightSpeed and related products. Please contact OpenBase at www.openbase.com to buy a license for use with other applications.

To everyone that's installed and tried the Public Beta so far:

If you've been doing any offline syncs with the beta, we'd like to have a look at your logs; you can send the logs in by selecting Help > Email Log Files or Save Log File and sending them to support (at) marketcircle. Please add a small note in the email when sending the logs that they are the requested offline logs for the Public Beta.

The logs should be those from the machine(s) that have the offline database, not from database host.

No, we mean Online/Offline syncing. This can be done by going to the menu File -> Database -> Go Offline. It creates an offline copy of your database that you can work on even while you're not connected to the computer hosting the main database.

iWork merge feedback:

1) It doesn't appear to merge with a pages template, only a pages document. The template doesn't pass any data at all.
2) I would like to request suppression of blank lines in the address too - at least for the State field which is often blank for large UK cities.

Those templates only include Address Book fields. Merging with Daylite requires that the Daylite merge keys be in the document for the merge to work properly.

You need to make sure to save the document you plan to merge with, otherwise it probably won't merge properly.

This is not the issue. I am using a very time tested template. The issue is when I have *any* other word doc open that is unsaved....The template for merging launches...there is "replacement" activity...but no replacements are made.

This is definitely different from the former behavior.

No problem...I would like to re-test this too...but I just "majorly" screwed up syncing on my system and had to reinstall everything (hopefully I will have that fixed post haste).

In the mean time

5. The merging document opens behind the other (unsaved)doc..says it is merging and then nothing happens..no data is merged
6. Close the open doc's (in other word start from zero point)
7. Then do the merge and things work great....so it has to do with the unsaved doc being open.

Let me know if that is reproducable

Have you given that unsaved document a filename already or not?

Do you have a specific need to have an unsaved document open when merging? The merge engine needs to have the merge template as the front document in order for the keys to get replaced properly. If another document is in front, then the merge will not work; normally, any open documents get closed prior to the merging taking place.

That was the answer.

I am working on about 5 + and my boss about 10+ docs at any given time. When we merge...the new merge used to open as the front doc...it now is opening as a secondary doc behind the other open one's. We'll just close everything else first .....

Has this always been the case? Seems like this is new behavior.
