Since I upgraded to the latest version when I open Daylite I get the spinning ball for about 4 or 5 minutes and then everything is OK. I don't have a huge amount of files, maybe 400. Any ideas to solve it.

Do you have any reminders that are waiting to open ? I had the same problem and once I waited long enough for the reminders to finally appear [I think it was 30 min ] I dismissed them all , haven't used them since and have had no more problems ..
