About 1/2 of the email that we tell DMI to bring in comes in with headers only and no body to the message. There is no ryme or reason - sometimes it will be two emails from the same person, both in plain text and one wont bring the body of the email in.

We've been doing this for 2 weeks now and just looked back to find that 1/2 of our emails are not in there and we deleted the originals because we relied on DMI to take care of it.

Very frustrating

There does appear to be some rhyme and reason to it in fact. The conclusion I've reached is that unless there is a way for DMI to examine each MIME section of a multi-part e-mail to determine whether it is text, then we will see this behaviour. You have to use a manual workaround of one sort or another (manually copy body text, or do not strip attachments and go to DL to delete file attachments, leaving the text attachment only).

Unfortunately this has been a problem since the first version of DMI. For us it affects about 30-40% of mail logged into DL, so would be great to get an up-to-date position on this from MC. In the time it takes to check every message is ok in DL, it would be almost as quick to just copy and paste in the first place!

Yea this is pretty much useless to us if we have to check each email to see if it came in. frowne

I've had the same problems, although it seems to happen ONLY when emails have attachments, but not for EVERY email with attachments. Went back and forth with tech support and never got to a solution (tried stripping attachments, etc.) or even enough repeatability to properly troubleshoot the issue.
