Anyone else having problems with Calendar entries since upgrading to 3.1.1?
Calendar items are not showing up on linked individuals' calendars, and those people are not receiving the notification to "accept" or "decline" the item. Their status is "?" when you look at the original calendar item. It seems to happen randomly to some items and not others. When it doesn't properly notify all and link to their calendars, the only solution that works is to delete the entire event and starting over. There are also instances where items are disappearing from calendars. In those cases, the notifications are recieved, they are "accepted," display correctly on the calendar initially, but at some point they disappear from some calendars and the satus of those individuals changes to "?". What's going on! HELP. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Kyle Hutchison, |

Hello Kyle,
We did change this behaviour, but we may have been too strict. It will change this in the next release. What was happening was that all meetings would show on invitee calendars, even those the user declined. We changed what we showed to only accepted meetings, but it probably should be accepted and proposed meetings. Thanks for bringing this up, Michael. |

Michael,
Thanks for the info; we;ll look forward to a less strict revision in the next release. I hope soon.... But the much bigger issue for us now is the disappearing calendar entries. Items that have been accepted are randomly and mysteriously disappearing from the calendars of some invitees and not others. Their status reverts to "?, and the only way to get these people re-linked to the item is to delete item entirely and start over (and hope the same odd behaviour doesn't happen again). HELP! This is very unpredictable, unexplainable (so far), and frustrating! Thanks, k |
