Just a note to others when they try this one and get crazy:

- Contacts have Keyword A & (some of them) Keyword B assigned.

- Im creating a Smart List like this

Keywords
matches ALL of the following

IS Keyword A
IS NOT Keyword B

But at the end »IS NOT Keyword B« is not evaluated at all in this context.

Unfortunately this is a confirmed bug.

You would need this to filter large lists of contacts with lots of keywords effectively, like:

»Get me a list of all press contacts (Keyword A) but filter out those who dont' want postal mailings (Keyword B)«

This is so essential ...

Absolutely agree. I consider this a major deficit.

The problem is the criteria is very limited and in my opinion wrong, namely if a Contact for instance has Keyword B and no other keyword the search will work as expected, that is filter it out. However if a contact has Keyword A and Keyword B it works because it has Keyword A.

MC may have a reason for this but it makes filtering by keywords next to useless.

I noticed this quirk also. Even though I like DL, and its stability has increased plenty since 3.7.4, I'm finding that little things are annoying me also.
I use it for very simple things, such as contact management and letter writing. It seems that many things are deficient and there are so many things you can sweep under the rug of complexity and customizability but the fact remains that at this state, given the frequent crashes and issues, I only use it for letters. Contact management and tasks are handled by AB and iCal.

In any case there is nothing in terms of databases and help in my field (healthcare) and I refuse to pay hundreds to a "partner" in order to get the usability I want and need out of this program.
