Hi there,

tried to update database just like Oscar told here.

After some 2 hours (!) got following in OpenBase manager log viewer. Here is two last lines, as OpenBase stuck:

2007-10-07 14:20:37 +0300: ReportTemplate.visibilityPresetID - index rebuilt
2007-10-07 16:45:00 +0300: stored procedure 'RebuildDatabase' not found.

Stuck just by processing update 3 of 6.

Any ideas? AJ? Oscar? Anyone?

This looks like a bad install. It looks like some OpenBase components are not installed or do not have the right permissions.

Have you tried re-installing?

Any clues on what is "BAD" install?

Just checked log file, "stored procedure 'RebuildDatabase' not found" repeats every day at 16:45

How to clean up OpenBase from the system and install from scratch? 3.5 sits there already.

Use the Uninstaller to uninstall it (keep a copy of your database in a safe place). The uninstaller is found in HD -> Applications -> Daylite 3 -> Tools.

Then re-install Daylite (or DPS).

AJ will he need to do a restore on a backup file or will new in stall find the old on?

Issue closed. I had to switch to 3.5.1 Beta.
