HI,
I just imported about 1000 + contacts from Apple Address book. It went very smoothly, but the Organizations don't display in the contact list until I double click (edit) a new contact. Is there a way to make the organizations appear for all of these new contacts? I tried doing a bulk edit to all contacts for a few things, but it didn't make the Orgs appear. Using latest Daylite, Leopard 10.5.4 thanks, Paul |

Can you see the organisations from your imported list if you switch to Organisations view?
You could also perhaps customise the contacts view to show the linked organisation for a contact. You can do this in cloumn view mode and if you select the little pale blue triangle in the top right hand side of the daylite screen. Ensure that the contacts and organisations are properly labeled as such in AB too. Hope that helps. |

Hi,
Yes, I can see the organsations if I switch to Org view. It also displays under the organisation heading in the contact pane (the contact detail below the contact list...) But in the list itself, i've added organisation as a Sortable heading. it's here that it won't display until I take the contact into edit mode - once i double click, then close (no changes made) it then appears under the organisation heading in my list. Until i do this, i can't sort contacts by organisation. it wouldn't be a problem with a few contacts, but opening up a 1000 contacts for multiple users could take a while... |

Please contact support on this - we can send you a script to run to make the organizations appear in column mode.
