I have 3 licenses for Daylite and one for DMI. Whenenver I try to connect to DMI integration in mail it tells me too many users are using Daylite/DMI. So then I have to have everyone close out of daylite so I can log in. I figured I would just leave my mail program open all the time. However this does not work as it kicks me out. So now every morning I have to tell everyone to logout of Daylite so I can use DMI. This is such a pain in the you know what. Is there any work around for this or will there be a fix for the slue of licensing issues associated with the program?
My version of daylite is 3.22 and I downloaded the updated to the DMI program before I posted this. I did read the other post about the issues but did not find any solutions to having to constantly have everyone get off of daylite so you can get DMI working.
If you only have 1 license for DMI, and 3 users on Daylite, then the person who is using DMI will need to always log in first. We usually recommend number of DMI licenses = number of Daylite users.
This is the way our licensing structure is set up in a mutli user environment.
Hi guys, I'm new to these forums and investigating the login of DMI with multiple Daylite users. I to have 4 Daylite licenses in the office and I am the only one who uses DMI. Are you telling me that each morning I need to tell everything running Daylite to quite and let me log in first in order to use DMI? Doesn't that seem, well, a major inconvience of the software? Is there ANY work around for this? If I have users logged in from home and I can't reach them if they are logged in and I need to use DMI, are you saying I'm just out of luck? Say it ain't so! Thanks,Dave
