Hi,
Someone in presales has informed me that what might be causing me crashes is that I have Alarms set in iCal? Can anyone confirm this? Are you NOT ALLOWED to use alarms? That doesn't make sense to me that a Organizational program would not allow you to use notification to remind you of when things are happening? Is there some other way within the Daylite environment to notify yourself of events coming up? And will this translate via Syncronization with my phone (I have missing sync). thanks Kerry |

I've been using alarms and have not had problems with that. It might have been a mis-communication. The only "problem" is that you get the alarm from both Daylite and iCal. There is a setting in iCal so it won't present the alarm if iCal is not running, if you prefer it that way. I believe though that if you set it that way iCal will show all the alarms the next time you start it.
Not sure about what happens to alarms on your particular phone though. That's between your phone and iSync. Regards, Howard |

Just to clarify alarms can sync.
The problem occurs when you have more than one alarm of the same type on an appointment. For example: two email alarms on one appointment. or two sound alarms on one appointment. etc. Reason this is an issue: iCal supports multiple alarms of the same type and Daylite supports one of each type. that's great to know!
There's still an issue with the syncing that the tech team is working on. Kerry |
