Does Missing Sync work with Daylite and a Palm 650 Treo?
I have been able to use it with both my phone's cradle and bluetooth on a MacBook Pro. But past experience gives me pause. What address format does Daylite use to import my contacts? V card? |

Yes.
I have Missing Sync 5.1.0 successfully syncing Daylite 3.1.1. with a Palm 650 Treo (Orange UK) on Mac OS 10.4.7; it can be a bear to set-up initially, and it isn’t as seamless as it could be in theory, but given the whole syncing/Palm thing is historically never 100% on the Mac platform, it is better than any other combination of software and hardware I’ve ever tried. I’m hopeful that a sync-services solution and the mythical Apple iPhone will be even better, but for now—if you can get it working—Daylite, Missing Sync and a Palm device are very, very good. If you intend to try it, read the instructions very carefully, back-up your database, and look through the forum archives and knowledge base for caveats and other peoples’ issues. But, all that said, it can be done, and—once working—is a good solution. |
