Is there anything I should be aware of when developing HUDs for compatibility with different releases of the operating system?

I'm looking at the possibility of using the Dashboard extensions for Web Kit to integrate with other apps via a HUD, and the documentation mentions you need to code differently for pre-10.4.3 and post-10.4.3 systems.

Does Marketcircle have any stats for the make-up of the Daylite market that suggests one way or the other is better at this stage?

As for actually using the Dashboard facilities, can Daylite HUDs use things like Access Keys and the Apple Classes?

No, Daylite widgets are not Dashboard widgets. Although they are using similar tech and concepts, we do not have Dashboard running in DL, we have our own environment.

Re-investigate this after the next release of DL.
