In another post , someone asked how to create a report that would show 'not abandoned' and 'not suspended' opportunities.
As I was typing the answer, I figured it would be faster for me to do it than to type it. So I did it and here it is. Download it, uncompress it and put in Home -> Library -> Application Support -> Daylite -> Templates Then in Daylite go to File -> Reports. You'll see the new report in the 'Opportunities' area. There is no script in this report. It uses the Visual Query Filter (same thing as the sourcelist editor). Download it here. |

Thanks for the download. i must be dumb, because I just don't find building reports in Daylite easy at all - just not intutive. I tried to modify your download and do a "save as" but that option wasn't available. is there another way to modify an existing report and save as another name? Please make several templates available. i need help!

The way to do it is to start a new report or layout (depending on what the original is), then in the second pane of the assistant, click on 'use existing' and pick the existing template you want to use.
We will have to revisit this mechanism... |

AJ -
I have been using the Opportunities report you created. Since the day we installe dthe most recent upgrade, the report shows up with headers, but "no data" shows up now where the opportunities used to be listed. Any ideas? Thanks. Terry. |
