Not seen this before. How exactly are you installing it?

Have you tried using Disk Utility to repair permissions on your disk?

What version of Daylite, as—depending on how you are installing the widget—it is responsible for putting it in the correct place.

The latest one, haven't tried disk utility. The Mac Pro was only freshly installed when Leopard came out, so not long back.

Let me know if running repair permissions help (it can’t do any harm, so worth a try at least).

I’m not running Leopard yet, so if it is that I won’t be able to help on that score. (I was waiting for Macworld to see what got released before upgrading my machine. That and seeing how much I had left after paying the taxman this year.)

Hi Andy love the widget, thanks, also thanks to this forum i have had a few hic cups, but until this one i have been able to get it up and running. Andy,I am experiencing the same problem as Jamie Reynolds did late last year, i.e. no matter what i do i can't seem to get the directory path to show up. It all works fine with fetch or firefox, it just doesn't take me where i wanna go. I have tried the fix you offered Jamie. Cheers

If the directory path does not take you to where you want to go it could be a couple of things:

1) You don’t have permission to get into the target directory.

2) You are missing (or incorrectly have) a slash from the path, possibly the end.

The easiest way to find the correct path is often to export a bookmark from your FTP program and see what path that has, then simply match that in the widget’s fields.

HTH
