Here is a little script that trims all the whitespace around a contact's name.
How to use it: - Download the script and uncompress it - Select some contacts in Daylite - Run the script (double click in the Finder or drag script to Daylite icon in the dock) - Confirm that you want to run the script Download Here |

AJ, can you post an example? I'm not sure what you mean about trimming the white space. I'd like to see what it does before downloading and running it.

I tested the script - what it basically does is removing all blank spaces in a contacts name, which can be good to use if you merge a letter in DayLite and use the name field. With spaces your merged letter could look like "It was good to talk to you John !" After running the script it will look correctly "It was good to talk to you John!" If there are several spaces the script will remove all of them. Life is great! |
