Hi Alf,

Thanks for the report. I put it into the template folder but I still didn't figure out how to access it. I was gessing I could have access from a Print of the Opportunity but it doesn't work. Could you give me any hint?

Thanks, Pierre

Estimate templates are only accessible when creating a new estimate. They do not appear in the Print dialog.

You can look at it in the Editor if need be. While Daylite is running, drag the template to the Dock icon to open it or use the 'Actions -> Edit Print Layout ...' menu item.

Well, how do I accessible estimate? I can't find the estimate anywhere on the menu bar?

I am in the printing business and most of the time customer wants to see several prices with different quantities on one single estimnate.

Instead having horizontal format, I prefer to design a estimate with vertical format to show different quantities.

To make a new estimate : go to Action-Menue, New Print Lay out, Estimates, than folllow the instructions.

To print a estimate go to Opportunities , chose one in the Detail-Pane you have the possibillity to print a Estimate: Klick on it and choose the Template...

Thanks Alf,

I think I now know how to access Estimate and how to print it.

My biggest concern is that I try to use Quickbook pro to generate estimate with multi price quote. I found out that it is not supported by Quickbook at this point.

Is it supported I do this in Daylite?

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!
I was stuck for over 1h last nite trying to find out how on earth to print or email the estimates.... I did not understand (i guess cause my brain was fried by then) where the heck the Estimates were in Opportunities... well, for the people like me, once you are in opportunities (red door), look at the 2nd half of the screen, and click on the Estimates tab (btw progress and activity).

Thanks Alf and thanks to all the contributors of this forum!
