I am considering purchasing the new Iriscard 4 business card scanner. Has anyone used this new version ? I did find a review in PC Mag http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2256990,00.asp but alas it was on a wintel machine. They did note it as much improved over previous version

Robert,
I have been using IC4 with a flatbed scanner. It is not seamless with AB or DL3. In fact I believe there are a number of issues with the Mac version that the PC Magazine does not address. It is after all talking about PC not Mac. Some of the issues that I have run into using a flatbed scanner, include Sending duplicate entries to DL3. Notes not getting transfered to DL3. Extraction of multiple cards not recognized. I have been in contact with IC since version 3.2. They have incorporated many of my suggestions into version 4, such as "First letter uppercase". They are aware of numerous Mac flaws and are working on correcting them. Their Mac development team is limited. For the price it is not a bad program if you are patient. |

Patience is still "under construction" but I think I'll give it a try anyway. Thanks for the input Lisa
