I am in the process of converting our entire workflow from the past 7 years into daylite. The major obstacle is the time consuming task of opening each project, setting the pipeline, status, etc., then linking to appropriate contacts and so on. When I did the import I put the intended pipline name and status in the extra fields and I have smart lists setup to display the records based on what I need to change. What I don't have is the excessive amount of hours it will take to do all this manually.

I am not a programmer by any means. Has anyone else written a script to make repeatitive changes to records based on specific criteria like this?

This is probably possible assuming that you have existing pipelines set up and you have been consistent in 'labeling' your extra field content. But I'm not sure what you mean by appropriate contacts - that sounds like something that isn't automated but more of a human decision.

When I brought this data into daylite I used the extra fields to enter the pipeline, pipeline stage, contact to link the project to, etc. All the data is consistent, I just need a little help with an automated script with an If=then statement to make all the pipeline changes, link to the contact, etc.

Can anyone help with this? At this point I'm willing to pay for the script. I've got hundreds of records with 3-4 changes on each one.
