I am an AppleScript novice, but am actively learning. I have noticed that someone has designed an AppleScript to create Org charts using data from Address Book and exporting that data into Org Charts in OmniGraffle Pro 4.x (see item # 3 on this page http://www.omnigroup.com/applications/omnigraffle/extras/ ).

By chance, has anyone created an AppleScript to export Org Chart data from Daylite into OmniGraffle Pro?

It currently is not possible to export data out of Daylite via plain applescript, but what would be possible is either writing an f-script to export out the data you want from Daylite and then processing that text file with an Applescript (at this point you could probably borrow liberally from the existing applescript for address book), or even just do a 'export visible columns' to generate a text file that you could script graffle with.

You could even get really tricky and use the 'old' report engine in daylite to generate out a text file in whichever form you want, such as xml!
