Is it possible to pass a variable in as one of the arguments to loop?

e.g.

<$loop value 1 otherVariable 1 loop1$>

I've tried

<$loop value 1 <$otherVariable$> 1 loop1$>

and

<$loop value 1 <$field otherVariable$> 1 loop1$>

Anyone even trying any of this in HUD?

It seems that the merge engine using MiscKit is extremely limited.

The answer to my question is unfortunately not.
