I have read over all of the posts in this section of the forum. In the earlier post entitled "Learning Scripting," I get the impression that Daylite could be scripted with either AppleScript or F-Script. However, I have downloaded the Daylite 3 Developer's Kit, and it appears that Daylite and all of the contained data can only be access via F-Script, or AppleScript (making F-Script calls).
If this is accurate, then are there any possible plans for direct AppleScript support? Ron |

You are correct. The core of Daylite is only accessible via F-Script.
So far, it seems to have worked for most people. In fact, you can do stuff in F-Script that you could never do in AppleScript. |

True, you can do some things with F-Script that you can't with AppleScript but that depends on how valuable your free time is and if you want to learn the language. For interaction with other OS X apps F-Script isn't worth learning (IMHO) but for straight Daylite scripting it's your only hope.
Ron, I get around Daylite's AppleScript lack with the FileMaker connector. I just push the data back and forth between the two when I need AppleScript, which is quite frequently.
